Jaswant Malhi is a Barrister and Solicitor with Alam Law Firm, PC.
In 2013, Jaswant graduated from McMaster University with an honours, Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology. In 2016, she obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law, with a specialization in Law and Technology. Following graduation, Jaswant worked as a student-at-law with Jane Finch Community Legal Services. She was admitted to the Ontario Bar in June 2017.
As a passionate and skilled advocate. Jaswant steadfastly assists clients in navigating challenging disputes. With a focus on civil matters, she routinely appears before the Ontario Superior Court and Small Claims Court for motions, claims, and application hearings.
Jaswant is fluent in Punjabi and understands Hindi and Urdu.
In her free time, Jaswant enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, working in her family farm, and volunteering in the Caledon community. She also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Canadian chapter of ‘The Sant Zora Singh Lopon Charitable Trust;’ a charity that aims to aid disadvantaged social groups and promote religious and racial harmony.
