Corey is a dedicated Barrister and Solicitor with Alam Law Firm. Corey practices in all-manner of civil litigation, including contract disputes and professional negligence claims. Corey also assists injury victims in matters involving catastrophic injury, serious motor vehicle collisions, aviation accidents and disasters, rail-transport accidents and disasters, medical malpractice and negligence, wrongful death claims, insurance disputes, premises liability, municipal liability, nursing home negligence, serious pet-related injuries such as dog bites, and other complex injury claims.

Corey holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Economics (B.A. Hons.) from Trent University, where he graduated with distinction on the President’s List. Corey also holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Osgoode Hall Law School – one of the world’s top-ranked law schools. Corey graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School with a special distinction in taxation law, with a focus on international taxation, which provides Corey a unique background with inter-jurisdictional litigation matters. During his time in law school, Corey served as the Managing Editor of Osgoode Hall Law School’s student newspaper, Obiter Dicta – the longest running law school newspaper in North America. Corey has also earned a Certificate in Medical Diagnostic Imaging from Yale School of Medicine at Yale University.
Prior to joining Alam Law Firm, Corey articled at the esteemed civil litigation firm, Iacobelli Law Firm, in Toronto, Ontario, spending his articles deeply involved in a variety of litigation matters.
Corey is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Toronto Lawyers Association and the Peel Law Association.
In his spare time, Corey enjoys spending time with family, volunteering, travelling, and cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Toronto Blue Jays, the Toronto Raptors, and the Mississauga Steelheads. Corey is also an avid runner. Corey was raised in the Township of Asphodel-Norwood, Ontario, and is of Acadian ancestry and heritage.

Events & Causes Social responsibility has always been very close to our hearts and we strongly believe in giving back to our community.
Mr. Alam was honoured and proud to receive the Queens Platinum Jubilee Award Emblem. The commemorative pin was awarded to Alam Law’s founder in recognition of his outstanding service to the community. A special thanks to the Member of Parliament, Ms. Salma Zahid, for awarding it.

It gives us immense pleasure to have donated $10,000 to the Help Me Project. Help Me! Projects is a non-profit undertaking, it provides sonography medical services, promoting health care services, to relieve poverty in developing countries and to provide education, counselling and other support services for immigrants and refugees on Canadian culture and life.

Giving Back to the Community. It was an honour and privilege to attend a very noble cause of supporting the senior care facility that will be run by Secredhand Canada. Secredhand Canada had a fundraising event. As part of our social responsibility towards the community and more specifically for the seniors, Alam Law Firm donated $10,000.00 for this noble cause.

Alam Law Firm social commitment to give back to the community continued during the COVID-19 pandemic. $15,000.00 was pledged to Trillium Health Partners and given to the CEO of Trillium Health and her team.

Alam Law Firm Participated and Sponsored in Namal Knowledge City where Mr. Alam Donated $8,000 and bought a Cricket Bat signed by Mr. Imran Khan. Event was attended by more then 500 people
