Bill clarifies occupiers' liability questions on Ontario trails

In Ontario, residents and visitors alike enjoy the numerous trails located throughout the province. Police department seeks to reduce pedestrian accidents

Walking is a popular mode of transportation for people of all ages in Mississauga. As it turns out, it can also be dangerous. In 2015 Peel Regional Police indicates that on streets in Mississauga and Brampton, a total of 633 pedestrians were struck by cars or trucks. Ministry of Labour seeks to reduce work deaths due to falls

In virtually any job there are things that are pros and cons. Depending on the occupation, the cons could translate into safety issues. For example, where construction jobs are concerned, falls could be an issue. In an effort to keep these incidents to a minimum, this summer, the Ministry of Labour is launching a program designed to try to reduce the number of such incidents that occur.

Ontario changes auto insurance premiums

Drivers in Ontario may not be aware that the provincial government recently made changes regarding auto insurance. In an effort to make auto insurance premiums easier to secure, the province has revamped the standard policies. Specifically it has lowered the premiums. The changes went into effect on June 1.
