Workplace accident leads to death of employee

While it’s true that workers are hurt in accidents connected to their jobs every day, few, if any, imagine that it will happen as they head out to work. When the incident occurred, the man was in the process of dismantling a portion of an old crane. As he worked, a large piece of metal fell upon him. It pinned him down, and ultimately killed him. The accident took place on a piece of industrial property that is leased by the man’s employer.

An investigation into just what happened is underway.
