Ontario police have confirmed that a woman was killed on Highway 7/8 near Trussler and that the man who struck her vehicle was very likely impaired behind the wheel. He is currently in custody and was slated to make his first court appearance in Kitchener on Nov. 27. He may also face a wrongful death suit, depending on the desires of the family.

One person is dead and two others are injured following a rollover crash in Markham. Single-car accidents are more likely to have been caused by driver error than accidents involving more than one vehicle and therefore must be investigated carefully. Ontario authorities are in the process of determining what caused this accident but have yet to come to any solid conclusions.

Two young teenagers believed to be siblings are in critical condition following a serious accident on Halloween night. Understandably, the potential for car accidents to occur tends to go up on a night where young children are out in numbers on the streets of Ontario, but in this case, the fault appears to lie squarely with the driver involved in the crash. Police are continuing to investigate, but they have filed criminal charges.
